Today the Courage group did Chapter 6 and wrote in our logs. Isac
We practiced on our 8 multiples and we did 10 pages in our math books. Ben
Harry brought in things from Morocco like fossils and pictures and trilobites and Harry explained what was going on in Morocco. He said that in Morocco they have camels and camel burgers and a guy had a big hat and Harry showed us pictures of him being in the ocean and doing other stuff like holding a bottle in the air and he had pictures of the food he ate. He said, We chiseled fossils out of rock and brought them to America.
We watched a science video. It was about sound. Siena and Lucas
We learned all about how an echo bounces and how energy has produced music. We learned that sound travels through solids more quickly. We learned that vibrations make the sounds that go into your ear. We learned there is an eardrum in your ear and it is like a mini trampoline and it goes to your brain so you know what it is. Sounds comes from sound waves and if you direct those waves to your ear it sounds louder. Ben, Sam L., Emilia, Keaton and Bergen

We had Siena's birthday and her dad was really funny and Siena's dad said something nice about Destiny's beautiful haircut. Riley and Ryan
We started writing about the dangers of moving west in Cassie's Journey and I'm excited to finish. In Cassie's Journey we learned that the crossing the river was really dangerous and there's a lot of buffalo stampedes. There was a lot of danger on the trip. We learned that if you traveled out west and it's raining the bread will get soggy Sarah, Taylor, Michael, Sam S. and Siena
I got a pickle and I named it Yamlet. Sami

Yesterday Ari showed us some photos of her vacation in California. She explained what banana slugs were. She took a picture of a really tall redwood tree in a redwood park.
