We've been studying about sounds. Sounds comes from vibrations. The difference between volume and pitch is pitch is how high a sound is, and volume is how loud something is. We learned about how a sound wave moves. We learned that sometimes you can see the things vibrating but sometimes they are so fast or so small you can't see them. We did some experiments and everyone in the class loved it, well mostly everyone in the class did, and we also wrote down what we learned about the stations. We learned that sound moves when atoms hit each other. The louder the volume the more energy is used to make the sound. And we watched a video about sound. We learned that sound travels faster through rock than air because there are more atoms in rock than air and the atoms hit each other and sound goes faster. Phew!!!!
